About Me

TIME FOR A CHANGE.
Most people know me here as the webmaster for many years for North Beach Leather as well the lastest company that has grown out of it that occupies the same space as the North Beach flagship store, West Coast Leather.
I originally started this page as my page, as webmaster to help drive traffic, network, etc. But over the last year almost, I found more and more of myself being limited from things I wanted to express regarding leather fashions, etc. My other profile is fairly generic, but fairly all over the place as well, between motorcycle racing to triathlons and my other interests, it becomes a tough balancing act, not in the least, the friends list becomes quite interesting.
Leather is very much a part of my life, and as such, I have decided to create another profile that expresses this side of me. Who knows. Maybe it is a bad idea... But that is where I feel the best direction is for me to express myself, and to really bring forward leather fashion as a whole and how it relates to and is integrated with my life.
And back to the general blurb here...
North Beach Leather was my first real introduction to the world of fashion leather. I was honored to work on their website, as I was a big fan of Michael Hoban's early designs, and loved the softness of the leather as well as the gorgeous designs. I can still remember the first North Beach Leather outfit I bought for my girlfriend at the time, Jennifer, and it was a one of a kind sample. Times change, and the store is no longer there at Copley Place, but I do have such great memories.

A NOTE ON REQUESTS - All that being said, I believe in personal contact and availability. I am not out to just collect friends or spam other, nor do I want to be used as such for the same. Fashion lovers, especially those with an appreciation for leather apparel are more than welcome. If you are just out to spam links, get rich quick schemes, of looking to get over 100,000 friends listed in you friends list, please move along. I do read profiles and am selective about who I add. I watch bulletins, posts, and comments, and frequently trim down the friends list of those I think are abusive or just gathering names. Please note on comments. I appreciate that many people like to pass along kind words and get a plug in, that is fine and I am all for networking and sharing contacts, etc. Please keep it reasonable. If it is overly suggestive, I probably will not accept it. A lot of the people in my friends list enjoy an alternative lifestyle, but I do need to keep the front page somewhat clean... Sexy if fine, but in your face sexy may be too much. I also do not mind banners and small ads for events, etc, but if you are posting an comment with three or four of these, it probably will be rejected.Any and all leather fashion fans who love discussing leather fashions from the top designers in the softest leather. Having grown up with North Beach Leather, i would especially be interested in hearing stories about your favorite North Beach Leather outfit as well as the stories that go along with them. It is always great hearing other people’s memories as well as sharing my own. I have loved the people I have worked with or interacted. From the people who staff the stores, to photographer John F. Cooper and art director Peter Brown and their great associates who have made my work on the last few catalogs a great success.
All the best to you!
