Influences: My musical interest spans across a diverse range of musical genres from listening to Bob Dylan in the backseat of my dads car as a kid to Techno at the Panorama bar in Berlin. I started DJing in 1999 experimenting with different genres which lead me to what is now my passion, House and Techno. Doing my degree in Nottingham i played and promoted various nights holding down a residency at Kombination Funk in the Techno room. Having moved to Bristol i now study a Masters in Animation, and promote a monthly night called Halo at Dojo Lounge.Since joining forces in 2004 James Hurley and Dan Reilly have formed a fruitful DJ/promotion partnership. As a DJ duo their styles compliment eachother taking the crowd on a progressive journey through the ranks of House and Techno. Their sets are infamous for their diversity and a distinct ability for manipulating the crowd into a dramatic techno frenzy. Both their musical interests have spanned across a wide range of genres over the years and they have finally taken to the studio to start expressing some of the many ideas they have formed from years of dedication to the scene. As well as DJing for Halo and various other nights they have both graced the decks of Loco on numerous occasions, supporting the likes of Peace Division, Slacker, Quivver and B-Pole.Halo kicked off in 2006 with Layo and Bushwacka!'s Feels Closer Album Launch Party and since then they have booked a whole host of fresh House and Techno talent which has seen Halo rise to one of Bristol's premier minimal house nights. Currently they run every second Friday of the month at Dojo lounge with Dirt Crew live as their nexts guests. 2007 also sees them have plans for bigger one off events, celebrating their first birthday in style at Clockwork on 20th April.
