------------------------------------------------------------ --------------- Have you ever had real maple syrup? Not Aunt Jemima or Eggo brand. I'm talkin' bout the real stuff. Next time you find yourself in the maple syrup isle in the supermarket, take a good look at the ingredients and see what it's really made of. At least it smells pretty good.For the most part, corn syrup is unique to America. Our economy depends on it. If you're willing to pay a premium, there are fine quality niche sodas and imported beverages out there that use real cane sugar instead of corn syrup. Next time you're in a restaurant ask if you can get a soda that doesn't have corn syrup. Maybe if enough people ask, retailers and distributors will get the message.
