About Me
My name is Ronnie Whitaker - I am 18 years old and live in Odessa, Texas. I'm currently working for my dad. I've played the guitar since I was about 14 years old. Like any other 18 year old musician it is my dream to make it all of the way to the top, however, I like to look at it as more than a dream because I fully intend to make it a reality one day.
To date, some of my music has been heard in such far away places as Russia, Japan, England, Scotland, Ireland and Australlia and one day I hope my music will become common in household's around the world!
I have a diverse range in my love of music and ability, everything from the crunch of such bands as Pantera and Black Label Society to the old school sound of such bands as Rush, The Doobies and The Eagles. My wide range of musical interest will probably lead me to dabble in many different types of projects but one musical interest doesn't outweigh any other and will never hinder my ability to be devoted and committed to any one person, group or project.
Since I was 14, I have been blessed and fortunate enough to have met Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Vinnie Paul, each of the Judas Priest band members, Rob Zombie, Shavo from System Of A Down, Scott Minyard with Slow Roosevelt, Adema, each of the Doobie Brothers band members and numerous others.
I'd like to add a note of thanks to Dimebag, Zakk Wylde and Shavo for the amount of time they each allowed me to become part of their lives and their ability to treat me as one of their group and not just another starry eyed fan!
I should also say, with the exception of a small handful of douche bags, everyone I have ever met has been cool as hell!
I'd also like to add a special note of thanks to Bob Daisley, John Sinclair, Robin Bachman, Billy Greer, Bernie Leadon, Keri Kelli, Don Mancuso, JD DeServio and the Doobie Brother's for reaffirming that dreams can and do become reality!
