About Me

It is said that our youth is the window to our future; and if that’s the case for music then Papuh Boi is a portal to a lyrical masterpiece. He was born in the city of Rock Hill South Carolina, but moved to Charlotte North Carolina at a young age. Papuh Boi started writing rhymes at the young age of eight and three years later he perfected the complicated art of free-styling. With punch lines of wit and southern cockiness rap fans can understand why his lyrical influences range from the boasting swagger of Lil Wayne to the flamboyance of Young Jeezy. Under the N.V-US umbrella Papuh Boi has no where to go but to the top with his music career!

“A lot of people do a lot of stuff but I’m versatile I can do whatever. I don’t have to be stuck to do just one type of music you know snap and dance, I can be hardcore, lyrical, whatever.” - Lil HomieFrom UGK to Outkast, Scarface to Ludacris, TI to Lil’ Wayne, there has always been a long lineage of greatness surfacing from the south. Throughout the last few years an emergence of southern influence has draped the airwaves with a continual stream of number one hits year after year. One artist stand leaps and bounds ahead of the rest and is only steps away from joining a very coveted list of southern legends. Darryl “Lil’ Homie” Ervin, was born in Rock Hill South Carolina. Since conception Lil Homie has been brought up with a vast array of musical influence at young age with such 90’s staples as Notorius B.I.G, Tupac Shakur, Mary J. Blige, Naughty by Nature, and Method Man just to name a few. At the tender age of 7, Darryl would start to request his own music where around the 1st and 2nd grade he consumed a mass of his influences from Lil’ Wayne’s debut album “Tha Block is Hot” and T.I.’s debut album “I’m Serious”. Within the next few years a writer would emerge upon the scene as a bright 4th grader would continuously write rhymes, more and more rhymes and less and less homework made a bright student falter. Yet with the resolve that he possessed Darryl would continue to write and move on. In middle school long time friend of his aunt, Tavaris “Lo” Logie need help structuring his up and coming entertainment label, N.V-US Entertainment, with his mother working beside Lo she would use recording sessions as a way to keep him on track. Now a B average student Lil’ Homie would continue to strive for greatness as he continues the lineage of great southern legends. With Dex Diamond managing and N.V-US Entertainment behind him and such hits as “Hatuh Wave” getting mainstream level exposure with improving radio spins and internet downloads; several major labels have been looking at Lil’ Homie as that next artist. With 2008 in their scopes N.V-US are in the process of booking as many shows as possible and making Lil Homie more than just that next artist out of the south but the next southern legend to make an impact within the game.PUT INFLUENCES HERE!!!..
