THE SHANGHAI'D STRAWMAN was recorded in 2001 by Andy Bell and Scott Phair, it took about a year and a half and went through many different phases and recording mediums, a live performance, a radio show and contributions from guest musicians such as Glenn Hummel who plays percussion on Shell Shocked Boy and Darkest Secret II. But alas the version of the record you can listen to here was destined to be lost, buried slowly in the ever shifting sands of time. Until by chance and a mysterious accident it ended up here on my space where it can finally be shared with the likes of all of you......

04-7-2007 / New SIAM Art...

01-12-2007 / Note for the New Year....

Getting ready to lay tracks for 2 more songs, and we are working on some ideas for a video . You know just working into the groove of a new year. More to come so stay tuned.
