My favorites are all over the place as far as style. The top of the list, of course, is my husband Kelly and his band Highway 7. He has written beautiful inspiring Christian music, as well as some very cool Blues and Jazz songs. He is an excellent guitarist and plays very cool harmonica music. Christian favorites include Kry, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, Telecast, and Hillsong. I love just about anything from U2, Kelly Clarkson, Norah Jones, and Christina Aguilera. My dad always played old country music by Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins, and also Italian Opera (Mario Lanza), so I developed a love for this music. Another favorite I grew up on is old Blues and Torch songs, by Billie Holiday, Etta James, Lena Horne, also Fats Domino songs. I will admit to enjoying some country music by Bonnie Rait, Faith Hill, Leanne Rimes, LeeAnn Womick, and Lee Greenwood. Oldies from the 50's and 60's are also favorites.
I recently saw Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith, and thought it was excellent! Great acting, and very inspiring! Favorite all time comedies are The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Office Space, Happy Gilmore, and Napoleon Dynamite. Other all-time favorites are all of the Rocky movies, the Godfather movies, Wuthering Heights, Shindler's List, The Gladiator.
Not much for TV, except of course when American Idol is on! Otherwise, Kelly & I watch old re-runs of Seinfeld, Everbody Loves Raymond, and King of Queens. That's about it.
