About Me
Odessa began her singing career in Denver, Colorado, USA at the tender age of thirteen, entertaining for tips in bars and clubs in and around Denver & by the time she turned seventeen she had become a popular local celebrity!
She kept company with some of the greatest musicians on the American circuit, learning her craft of entertaining young and old with popular songs of the sixties. At the age of nineteen she formed her own band 'Reinbeau' that toured throughout the USA playing every state with the exception of Hawaii. In 1985, whilst in Oklahoma, she was chosen by the Tulsa radio station KVOO to appear in a national country music contest at The Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
During her career as a singer and bass player, she had success with record albums in Texas, Oklahoma and California, writing most of her own material. Many of the more popular songs are available on her current albums. After the break-up of Reinbeau, Odessa successfully resumed her solo career, playing and singing in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Alabama.
In 1994 Odessa crossed the 'Pond' to settle in Derby, England, where she became popular in the Midlands. Finally a move to Wales prompted her retirement from the music industry to concentrate on a business career. Having established her commercial enterprise, she has now resurrected her first love...music. She now brings pleasure with her mellow tones and varied genre to audiences in England & Wales. A recent new addition to her career has been the exciting entry into radio, hosting her own nightly three hour show on the Internet at www.lonewolfradio.com at 3.00pm (central time, USA.)
In Septemeber 2006, Odessa was invited to attend the Western Artist Awards in Dallas, Texas where she interviewed and sang with her peers, e.g. Lacy J Dalton, Sisters of the Silver Sage, Billy Mata and etc. and made a guest appearance with Jimmy Eaves and his Pure Country Band at Ernest Tubbs Recors Shop, Fort Worth, Texas.
