About Me

Ok, I'm 40. Yeah, I said it out loud. I'm Irish, proud and have the tattoo to prove it! I have red hair, but not the attitude to go with it. I like to drive fast and laugh a lot. I think too much and like to shop. If you want my attention, don't act arrogant, that turns me off. I like to dance like no one is watching. Flowers are nice, but don't buy me any - they're a waste of money because they just die. My favorite color is green for no paticular reason. I love my parents and love to spend time with them. If that's not for you, then steer clear. I'm not into exercising, but it's cool if you do. I like fast food and the occasional nice restaurant. I like to sing along with the radio in the car, but I don't sing in the shower - that's for thinking. My favorite expression is "Whatever!" I enjoy children's activities because I have an 8 year old son. I like to visit warm climates but live in Indiana because that's where my family is. I'd like to think I'm technically savvy, but I'm not. I enjoy the simple things in life like just hanging out and talking. I enjoy reminissing with friends and making new memories. I don't like to cook, but I enjoy good cooking.

I'd like to meet:

A man who has a great sense of humor and likes to laugh. I like to take walks and just hang out talking and would like someone who enjoys that too. I'm probably a hopeless romantic and need someone who appreciates that. I prefer dark hair and someone who works an 8 to 5 schedule with weekends off so I can spend time with him. He needs to like kids since I have a 7 year old. I enjoy where I live so I'm looking for someone who wants to stay in this area. However, I like to travel to new places.

Books:

I don't do a lot of reading of the type of books that I'd like to read. When I do - mysteries, thrillers. I do read a lot of children's books with my son. I like the books my friend, Mike has written.

Heroes:

My parents are my heros. They have always been supportive of me. They gave me a great childhood and gave me a great education. They are hard-working, honest people. My mom is a strong woman who taught me to stand up for myself and do what I want to do. My parents taught me how to be a good, loving parent. My Dad taught me to laugh and not to be a "helpless woman." They both taught me to stand on my own. JoAnn taught me the meaning of being a great leader - I'm still working on it. She gave me a start in my career and taught me that I can learn more every day. She gave me the chance I needed. She's my mentor and friend.
