« Music has always been a part of me and always will »At the age of twelve, I began learning music theory and the guitar.
As years went by, I discovered the bass guitar in listening different rock bands and started to appreciate it. It was a real rythmic surprising discovery but something was still missing : playing the drums ! A new start was offered to me.In the summer 2000, NewBoy discovered the techno sound at the city parade in Liège ( Belgium) and soon, the studio previously dedicated to the recording of Rock compositions became the ideal place for electronic music recording.In the mean time, different encounters and especially one with a DJ gave him a certain taste for mixing. His personal style refines through many techno parties and events from which he gets inspiration.Always seeking for more dynamic sounds, he first interested in minimalist techno music but soon found his way in the « Schranz » sound which , for him, represented what he had been always looking for in electronic music.Since then, NewBoy performs in many events and parties and creates his own music always trying to bring innovating sound full of energy.« for me, making people dance remains an absolutely unique and delirious feeling ! »
