All time music listener, Nickynutz started buying 45's when 12 years old..now reaching 34..all kinds of influences though. He started mixin in Montreal (CAN) in 1999 with people like MURDA (Chopstick Dubplate), KRINJAH (HandGrenade), SASE ONE (Ethikal, TheHardsteppers, Wikkid rec) & D-JOOS aka
THE NITROUS (Kracked Knuckles Crew, In da Jungle). His preferences goes to breakz (of all kindz), dub, reggae & raggajungle. Nicky's roots are in Belgium (Liège) where he's been back since end of 2001. Party organizer (ANIMAL BREAKS), he did booked the CHOPSTICK DUBPLATE CREW for the first time in Europe (2003) and organized their tour.

Four years ago (2004), he started to produce tunes and remixes (raggadubjungle/mash-up wise). In june 2005, he started the ANIMAL BREAKS label, with the F.A.T. JUNGLE e.p. (cat. nr AB001), a 4-tracker vinyl release (500 copies).The 2nd release, "JUNGLIST SPECIALS e.p." (cat.nr AB002), an other 4-tracker, is available since december 2005.
In march 2008, a collab dubstep project ("Reflexe") with Eka The Mad Samplist (NL) feat. Jagan (B) & MC Stoneman (B) has been released on "We Bomb fi Dubs3", the latest dubstep e.p. on SOZIALISTISCHER PLATTENBAU, the label run by Istari Lasterfahrer (Hamburg, D).
Recently, he also collaborated on some jungle remixes for UK collectives as LAID BLAK from Bristol ("Red Wikkida Mix") and OVERPROOF SOUNDSYSTEM feat.RAS T-WEED & MC JUGGLA from Birmingham ("Watch what you put inna..") and also for the spanish CLASH RIDDIM SOUNDSYSTEM from Madrid ("Filosofia Rmx", feat. TRIBUMAN & JAHJAHMAN (Strasbourg, Fr)).
NICKYNUTZ has played in parties alongside people like ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION (UK), SEAN PAUL (J), M.I.A.(UK), BENNY PAGE (UK), SHIMON (UK), MARCUS VISIONARY (UK), MARCUS INTALEX (UK), T-POWER (UK), CEEPHAX ACID CREW (UK), DJ HIDDEN (NL), G.I.S.
