Carlos Velazquez was born in Concord, Sydney Australia on the 22nd of March, 1985. He pursued his father..s influence as a singer to perform at most school assemblies and events from the tender age of 6. He began learning piano through the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) at the age of 9. After 5th grade in piano, his interests developed to further his knowledge in other instruments such as Guitar, Drums, and Percussion.He followed his dream of having a successful career in music to become one of the feature solo artists in the annual ..Schools Spectacular.., held at the entertainment centre and televised on ABC. There, he worked with great artists such as Human Nature, John Foreman and Paulini Curuenavuli.Carlos began composing and producing music at the age of 16 and won an award at the ..kool skools.. song writing competition for best RnB, Pop song.In 2004, Carlos appeared on channel 10..s ..Australian Idol 2.., where he was a finalist in the Top 30 and was asked back to the ..Wildcard.. episode and also to be a part of the Grand Finalè at the Sydney Opera House as a performer and backing vocalist for Marcia Hines.Since then, Carlos has performed at most Nightclub venues all over Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide as a solo performer and with his band, appeared on channel 10 as a backing vocalist for Guy Sebastian and also on channel 9 as a backing vocalist of the annual ..Carols By Candlelight.. in Melbourne. He also performed in the Latin based stage show, ..Cuban Nights.. as a Narrator /Singer/ Dancer, which toured Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and also featured on channel 9..s Kerri Anne Kennelly show.Carlos is producing his first R..n..B/ Latin/ Soul Album but he has also worked with many talented producers, such as Michael Darcy, BNA, Audius and B-syde (Producers of Delta Goodrem, Bardot, Scandalous, Selwyn and many more).
