Alynea is a French band created in Metz (F-57050) at the end of 2003, by 4 very good friends who are fond of music. At the outset the project was launched principally for the pleasure derived from playing together. As time passed by, Alynea started to gain in maturity, and occupied a growing place in its member's hearts. Despite early successes, various factors have led to a number of changes in personnel since the band's creation. At one time including an additional guitar and an extra keyboard, the team has now reduced itself to the present formation: vocal, guitar, bass and drums. Two demo CD have been released: one at the end of 2004, and one at the end of 2007; and, many concerts have been given in the north east of France and Belgium. Alynea plays a kind of melodic rock style music with heavy guitars and with lyrics in the French and English languages.
