THE BEACH!!!! YAY YAY YAY I love the beach! Can you tell? My favorite beach is Assateague Island where I LOVE TO 4WHEEL DRIVE! It's so beautiful and it's easy. Take a drive down and pick a place. I like to fish, clam, go shelling, swim, meditate, read a book, or just relax on the beach. I am not kidding about fishing. I even tie my own tackle! I always head to the beach in times of turmoil. Water soothes my soul and I have to be near it.
I am a people person. I enjoy being around other's but am not into large crowds. I don't feel a need to go out because it's a weekend night. As I've aged I am much more comfortable at home or in smaller groups. Dancing is kinda out at the moment but it will come back. I hope to make new friends and meet a special man to share intimate times with. I am not in a rush.
My preferences are for earthy men who enjoy fishing and hunting. I am not saying rednecks here. You can be a regular person that enjoys these things without being redneck. Someone that enjoys listening to Jimmy Buffet beachside without being tore up trashed. I would especially enjoy someone that would like to spend weekends on Assateague fishing and chilling in a pickup truck self contained camper. This is the kind you need to be able to stay an entire weekend on Assateague. Not to mention all the other fun places you can go around here. YAY
I want a comfortable man. One that can thrive in a monogamous relationship. A man that can give me a hug that makes me feel like everything is going to be OK. I think everyone has a need for someone to make them feel special to them. It's the foundation of great friendships as well. I don't have sex with my male friends but I want my lover to be my friend too. I don't do the "Friends with beni's". Bonus points if you roll a nice joint. I am not a hard drinker nor do I do hard drugs.
I may as well tell you I would not enjoy a racist or someone that can't understand homosexual relationships. I am not homosexual or bisexual. I have family and friends of all creeds. I am not interested in dating out of my race. The reason is the men of different races that I have met in my area seem to have an itinerary and consider women a trophy to mount, show off, then move along.
YOU YOU YOU! You need to be honest, make a decent living, treat your women kindly, not be a snob, know how to give and take, take regular baths (geesh some don't sad but true), and be able to act right no matter if you are at a nice restaurant or a picnic with friends. No finger pointers, cranks, horse thieves, or mean people. As Morticia Addams said "Oh Gomez, Don't torture yourself. That is my job" (wink) Oh come on now if I was all easy you would get bored plus you know you need at least a bit of teasing and tormenting in your life or you would not have read this far!
Classic Rock _ Country And Western (I mean the kind with a great beat and songs that matter like without pickup trucks there would be no tailgates!) _ Jimmy Buffett _ Weird Al (have you heard Star Wars to American Pie)_ raggae_ Blues_ and most music that makes you sing or tap your feet!
Make Me Laugh! Comedy first. I am here for the shits and giggles. LOVED ANIMAL HOUSE! Horror is best read for me. I can watch it on a tv at home but can't in a movie theater. Too scary for me! I like movies that make you feel good too. Second Hand Lions is a great example of that kind.
Forensic's CSI Cold Case Files!!! I am not a big network watcher nor do I keep up on current shows. I am more into Court TV, A&E, History, TLC, TDC, and Animal Planet. I can always find something on to watch. It doesn't even take me 3,000 channels.
Oh Horror First!!! I love Dean Koontz books. I think I have read every one that he has written. If I missed one it was by accident. I just finished "The Husband" not too long ago and enjoyed it. His work amazes me in how he can spin a story out of nothing. No romance books for me. They are a complete waste of paper in my opinion. True crime, non fiction, science fiction, and ficton. History I find boring and would rather watch it on TV.
I would have to say my hero is my surgeon Dr Anthony Trufaro at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where they rightfully have been reconized as the number one hospital in the world. JoAnne Adresini MS, CRNP his assistant is my other hero. They are two of the nicest and talented people I have ever had the honor to come accross and I thank them for helping me get my life back.
