Just call me Dave's sister. Dave's the founder of FRANCESCAs BROTHER, and also my guitarist, co-writer, inspiration, and friend. We've come a long way from the days of my band Avatar, when young Dave hung around and was known as simply "Francesca's brother."
Dave wrote this beautiful song for me to sing- "Such a Moment" sort of distills the keen wanting and sense of place that comes with the end of a chapter in the history of love. "Neverland Boy" I'll leave to your interpretation... Dave and I finally put it down last summer in his Berkeley studio. "Into the Light" is on loan from FRANCESCAs BROTHER, and our old friend Jed Gore of Jonas Grumby plays the wonderful fingerpicked acoustic guitars on this track. As for now...I recently got back from Paris, where Robert Urban and I played for the 10 year French Tribute to Jeff Buckley at The Hard Rock Cafe.

P.S. Just got off the plane from Berkeley where Dave and I recorded two new tunes. Little three month old niece Katie Mack helped us mix- strapped into her Baby Bjorn on my brother's chest, or held in my arms while we worked. She loved the loudest parts and cried when we'd stop to talk. Somehow we got it done....new songs will be up soon! (Katie's still mixing.)Til we meet again, live in Grace.Francesca
