Owdooo, after 7 years of London life Im now back ‘ome in the boro...not much the wiser. I still enjoy making a racket on turntables more than pretty much anything else. Still resisting the urge to grow up & get a proper hobby. I am shit at DIY. I’ve been DJing now for...errm, 15yrs or so?? Before London I pedalled my wares in all the usual places in & around M’bro, the highlight being a messy 4yr residency at The Arena back back when it was one of the first & best underground house clubs in the N.East.
I play deep house muuuusic in all its variations, disco/rare groove, chas & dave, soul, electronica & anything else in between I feel like (often dependent on drunkedness) Besides all that I generally like having a larf, discovering new music, films, glasto, sunsheeiine, football, cooking/eating, Heineken Shmeineken, dusty record shops, dingey pubs, smokey night clubs.
