About Me

Peter and Allen have been playing together for the better part of a decade. they met when they were in a alternative band in the early 90's know as "Manchild" At this time Peter played bass and allen played guitar. un satisfied with the band direction, they split off from the group to form a new more punk based Band, they switched musical roles(Peter on guitar, and allen went to bass).....That's when Emancipated Youth was born. With allens brother Jacob on drums they tinkered around with punk rythyms and melodies for the next 4-5 years. When finally Jacob grew distant with the band and was expelled from the group. Peter and Allen took a break from serious song writing, to explore themselves as people a little further. Peter went of traveling. 2 years later they met back up.Peter started writing song with a talented musician named Rick Crowle, in the next few years that they spent together they explored music theory, and the technics of the music buisness in general. THis is when alot of the material that is known as "Bruno's Kids Music" was written, then Peter got strung out on various drugs,and Peter was arrested and went though a 31 day rehabilition for his drug problem. finally in the later part of 2006, Peter emerged from his rehabilitation with a new lust for this music in mind. Reconvening with allen on bass, They perfected the music that was written during the Rick Crowle tenure. With a albums worth of material, they set off to find a drummer. THat is when johnny Driver came in. A inventive young lad. He was a guitarist at the time and was tried on the basis of being a guitarist, but quickly found hiself more drawn to the beat of the music rather than the notes. He bought Rick crowles drums set and Bruno's Kids were born..

"Peter" - we are a indie rock band out of waycross, ga. that wants to change america's ideals, princable, ethic, and such....with good music.our music promotes goodwill toward men."Allen" - when our music hits your eardrums its like a sledgehammer to the side of the face. my goal is to rise with bruno to an epic level of fame by peaking under the lid of reality and filling it to the brim with an audio assult."Johnny" - i want to change the way people think about music in general in that it isn't some unattainable "gift" that allows people to do it, yet rather a means of expression; communication of feelings. also, we as a nation need to overcome the weaknesses we have, and strengthen our love for one and all.
