Tsipi with Peter Maffay & Encounters ArtistsTsipi was born and raised in Ashkelon, which is a beautiful ancient city on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Israel. She grew up in a very loving and supportive family, her parents come from a Tunisian origin – her father is a taxi driver and her mother is an elementary school teacher.
She has spent her twelve years of education in the art school of Ashkelon, were she has learned, besides the conventional studies, how to play the piano, flute and most importantly Classical Singing.
"Singing is the love of my life!" says Tsipi, "When I was a soldier I served as a singer at the military band- it was quit an experience to go to all those borderline military bases and entertain our brave soldiers"
After the army service, Tsipi continued developing in the music field, she performed in musicals and passed the auditions for the Israeli TV version of "American Idol".
She successfully competed on the TV show, won audience's hearts and reached the semi-final of the show.
The exposure on TV got Aloni Music, one of Israel's most respected and well known Talent management firms, to contact Tsipi, and to sign an exclusive representation contract with her.Currently, Tsipi is working close with Roy Aloni A Songwriter, Producer & Manager. Graduate of the Musician Institute, Los Angeles and holds a business management degree from the University of Derby, England.
He Started his career in the Music industry as a lead singer & songwriter for a local Israeli rock band who had a number one hit single in the mid 90's.
After graduating MI he began working as a Musical producer and worked with Many Israeli and International Artists.
Roy is Tsipi's personal Manager & songwriter .
"Soul Prayer" the song Roy had written for Tsipi, was chosen by German superstar Peter Maffay to be recorded as a duet on the Encounters 2 Album.

Encounters – an alliance for children, is a musical journey that leads us through the humanitarian, sociological and ecological hotspots of our planet. Encounters is a musical dialog Between peter Maffay and artists from around the world – the artists are working together to create an international network to support the needy children of our world, particularly those living in slums, ecologically-endangered or devastated regions, on reservations and those forced to live in areas ravaged by armed conflicts.
The project, which is without a doubt a challenging international undertaking, is supported by fourteen artists representing twelve countries.
Each artist is a celebrity in his or her home country and it can be expected that the merger of their distinctive and divergent musical styles and diverse cultural backgrounds will create a dynamic that will produce not only an album of high quality musical entertainment, but also a musical statement the impact of which will be far greater than the sum of its parts.
Each of the participating artists has been teamed up with a prominent personality from among the political, economic or social leaders of that country.
Tsipi has been teamed with Nobel Peace price recipient and former Israeli prime minister and foreign minister Shimon Peres and his "twinned Soccer Schools" project that aims to promote the peace process and foster understanding among Israeli and Palestinian youths through joint sporting activities.
Among the artists participating in this project are: Cesaria Evora – Cape Verde, Zola – South Africa, Ruslana – Ukraine, RDB – India, Chen Lin – China, Mi Kyung Park - Korea, Farhad Darya - Afghanistan and many more.
As mentioned, Tsipi will be touring Germany together with Peter Maffay and all the other great Artists in April/May of 2007.
the first song "Soul Prayer" is the duet with Peter Maffay from the Encounters album.Besides singing, Tsipi is also a student at the prestigious Tel Aviv University, Accountancy and Economy faculties – "Besides my demanding studies I continue to sing and I hope that in the future I could continue combining the accountancy field with the music field, even though it appeared to be two completely different things with no connection what so ever between them. My friends and family joke about it and say that at least in the future I would be able to manage my profits from the music business by myself. I always say that I love challenges, and even with all the difficulties on the way, I am glad and thankful that my life is rich and full of joy"
