My name is Emmanuel sargent but I go by the name of “e-real†You may wonder why or how I chose this name? the definition of real is, true, complete worthy of the name, and that is what I am going to be.I was born in 1988 and raised in a small town in georgia.I am the fourth of eight children and being in such a big family I know how it feels to go without. being a latin from the south hasent always been easy , but it has never stopped me from being proud of who I am. At such a young age I have experienced a lot of good and bad but I have learned to be thankful for all that I have been through because it has only made me stronger and more driven to follow my dreams.not only for myself but for my son. Being a young father at times has been very hard but it has made me grow up and has taught me what is most important in life. at the age of 13 I began writing poetry that is how I started to express my different emotions and feelings which led me to start writing songs. I have always had a passion for music, so when I began to create my own I knew without a doubt that I wanted to become a music artist. daring to be different is what I am doing. My purpous and reason why I am determined to be different is because I believe all successful and established artists in the industry whether they choose to be or not are role models . And so many artists these days define success and having a good time by glamorizing things such as,sex, drugs , and even violence. That is why I am choosing to be different by being an artist that sets a positive example by creating music with lyrics of inspiration,motivation,and how to overcome hard struggles in life. And also music with an uptone beat that you can dance to and have a good time. Another reason I am different is because of the diverse sounds and deliverance I bring to each song by adding a little, old school flavor, r&b , crunkness , slow and fast flows with a new original latin sound that has never been done before. Music is a great opportunity not to only help my family and friends but to also help others .
