Natural Vibes was founded by RicoVibes in 1996. Owning a sound system was always his dream, explained Rico. After several name changes, Rico was finally satisfied with ‘Natural Vibes’. Original members were Rico & Fatboy. In 1998 Rico formed a partnership with Corporal, that partnership ended in December 2003. Past members of the sound include, Red-Face, Colonel Al, Danger & Noah with the Powa. Natural Vibes has made an impressive name for itself in the mix cd market; the Singers Choice and Vintage Soul series are amongst the most popular mixed cds on the street today. With Alvus, experiencing Natural Vibes live is similar to attending a dance and stage show all rolled up in one. Natural Vibes has appeared in several music videos including Faith Evans and Mos Def “Brown Sugar†from the movie of the same name, Beenieman’s “Bossmanâ€, Busta Rhymes and Sean Paul “Make it Clap†remix. “The best of Natural Vibes is still yet to comeâ€, according to Rico.
