VISIONARIES
Peep my site for a higher res version!FYI, Quote on headline was by Mahatma Gandhi.Anyways, I am me. I think therefore I am? I may be here or I may be there? Spontaneity is KEY. Down for whatever is life. Social change is what I attempt to do.Yes, I am a Film Major. Most of you all think that we watch movies all day. But it is so not true, at least at UCSB it isn't. We learned history, psychology, Freud, Arnheim, Munsterburg, Eisenstein, Hitchcock, Comolli, Bazin, partial illusion, imaginary signifiers, the ontology of the photographic image, cultural studies, pre-production, production, and post-production, and many, many more. We learned how to write 10 page papers every week (We can write like no other...well, at least I used to. HAHA), observe, analyze, theorize. I felt like I received a general education because of film. We learned that films affect one in so many ways. Films are like video history books of that time period in that location, whether it was made in Italy during World War I, or made in the US during this crazy time period. I feel film affects us in many ways, which why I chose this field of study and career. The best change I can make is through film. Anyways, wanna know more? Just get to know me. AIM - Dabstract1
