About Me

Click here to visit my web site: ian-cooper.comHello there, my name is Ian Cooper and i'm currently a feelance photographer after recently studying graphic arts and design at Leeds Metropolitan University specialising in photography. My most recent project was documenting the British HGV community and lifestyle. I did this by spending a week away on the road with a lorry driver, who before christmas 2006 unfortunately lost his job of over 30 years, therefore i decided to document how most of his time was then spent down the pub. I also document derelict buildings (asylums and hospitals mostly) around the UK when i have time. Images of which can be seen on the slide show below. My web site has many more images of my urban exploration efforts. If your a model/band/artist/record label etc looking for a photographer then please get in touch. Im always keen to add to my portfolio. More work can be seen on my web site. This film below and above is from a recent project called Crossroads: lorry driver politics: this film depicts a brief insight into life on the road as a lorry driver. This mundane job is vital to keep the country running. I shot this film in October 2006 as part of my degree work.
