Do you remember the day when we were happy in May?

About Me

The only shield you have in life is you. And thank God my shield is protected by a salt and pepper coating of hair! It keeps me warm at night.I'm a proud Italian Eagles Fan from Philly!I am mostly happy. But sometimes I can be an ornery bastard when stupid people get in my way and when the Eagles lose. By stupid people I mean closed-minded, empty headed and empty hearted biggots. You know, Stupid People. I love Philly--great place to live--great city to raise a kid. I can ride my bike everywhere and we all live in rowhomes here. So, no matter how much you try and no matter how much imported marble you have in your stainless steel kitchen and that toilet that has the heated seat and named after Dorothy's dog, Toto...you still live in a rowhome and you're still from Philly.

My Interests

film, editing, weight lifting, football, and those sexy individualistic sports like archery and fencing

I'd like to meet:

After I die, it's a kiss and hug with Tony. Then, we sit back and joke with Joan Crawford and Errol Flynn and Lana Turner.

Music:

Anything but prefer wacky classical which is really a bad name for "classical music". to me, classical music is very modern, subjective, and freeing. It's more like modern art. There are no lyrics to define the song to the listener. Two people can hear and interpret 2 different images/ideas. Listening to great classical music is like touching God.

Movies:

Any and all Joan Crawford films. She's the man! Humoresque (1946)is her bes. Then "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946), "Now, Voyager" (1942), "Breaking the Waves" (1995), "Madame X" (1966)and THE greatest silent film ever "Sunrise" (1927) and way too many other films to list here.

Television:

Don't watch it--no cable. NOT that i'm against it and I know I am missing some really great shows. But when I do have some limited free time, I prefer to watch a film.

Books:

Too many to list; reading the "Artist's Way" now. "Dorian Gray"; "Joan Crawford-My Way of Life"...."The Year of Magical Thinking"

Heroes:

Joan Crawford and Errol Flynn and Lana Turner and Tony Sparacino and Mary Reilly
