Teagan & Jeff. The rest of my family is of utmost importance to me too. I love Decho (our puppy Chow Chow) and my two cats (Mojo & Bogey) too. I recently started playing volleyball again and forgot how much fun that can be! It's also nice to get out of the house once a week to do something athletic for goodness sakes. It's so much fun! Hmmm, what else do I love to do? I keep in touch with everyone - I'm good at that - can't help it tho, I'm a cancer. I love shopping and going for walks. I love drinking wine (not in an alcoholic fashion but more in tasteful way). I love having friends over and I love entertaining. In my next life I am going to be a party planner. I love getting pedicures and massages (who doesn't?), I love being out in the sunshine and I absolutely love being HOME.
Meeting new people is always fun and I'm star-struck like a mutha-trucka (Tina's probably very nervous for me to visit her in LA) but in all actuality I have probably already met the majority of the people who will be most important to me throughout the rest of my life. My wonderful husband, the cutest little daughter in the whole world, my awesome parents, my hysterical sisters, the rest of my loving family & my wonderful friends, etc... So who the heck cares? Right?
I'm fairly eclectic. But my faves are: Bob Dylan, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Harper, Nirvana, Nelly Furtado, Blink 182: +44 & Angels & Airwaves, Tim McGraw, The Doors, NIN, loved Rage vs the Machine, Chili Peppers, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Clutch, Motley Crue, & totally lovin' an old fave: Pantera again too. Man, they kick ass! If I ever became a WWF wrestler my intro would be "WALK" fo' sho! I love listening to Oldies and the country stations when going for long drives or up in the mountains. Buddy Holly, the first true American punk rocker of his era, Tom Petty is definitely a favorite along with Grateful Dead. Definitely need hip hop in my life too: In love with Nelly (I don't care if he wears a band-aid on his face or not), 36 Mafia is friggin' hysterical! And my latest or maybe longest lasting love of the music industry that I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit: JT baby, yup, I said it - Justin Timberlake. Oh man! I could go on on and on in this section so I better just quit now.
Urban Cowboy, Good Fellas, Mallrats, Grease, Clueless, Dirty Dancing, Pulp Fiction, Fast & The Furious (the first one, don't like the second, but loved the 3rd: Tokyo Drift), I really liked Friday Night Lights and Wedding Crashers. Now that Teagan's been watching Disney movies I actually find myself enjoying them. I forgot how cute they were and how many of them have Adult Humor in them; Nemo, Toy Story, Cars, etc. Anyway, if Jeff and I go out we usually don't spend our time at the movie theater so when I finally sit down and watch one it's usually at home after a long day of work and playing w/ Teagan so I end up falling alseep before it's halfway thru. I must admit (but don't tell Jeff this) that I do like the stupid Lord of the Ring movies! Dang it! If he only knew! ;o)
Used to love Sopranos but no longer have HBO. The one show that I have Jeff record for me every week is Desperate Housewives!!! Those women are hilarious and I see a little piece of me in each one of them. HILARIOUS! I totally love Real World/Gauntlet type stuff; by the end of the season I feel like I know those people. I like home improvement shows A LOT and really enjoy cooking shows (but can't cook myself). Those wife swap shows crack me up too! I told Jeff I'm gonna go on there and have some Southern Toofless Biznatch come straighten his shit out! He laughs knowing that I'd be sent somewhere to some man who is a total slob where I would go berserk! I'm a total clean freak. ;o) Newest fave: ROB n BIG. I told Jeff we could be them for Halloween (I'll be Rob of course) TEEHEE
America The Beautiful - MOON UNIT ZAPPA, To Kill a Mockingbird - HARPER LEE, Bless Me Ultima - RUDOLPHO ANAYA Bob Dylan's latest memoir. ...shoot - was it "on the road" or "last road home" Uhhh. So mad at myself for not even remembering that book. It was fabulous nonetheless.... Speaking of On the Road - that book was good too - Jack Kerouac.
TEAGAN - Can a 3 year old be a hero? I LOVE TEAGAN SO MUCH. I gotta tell you - I'm totally love sick for the kid. Think about her all the time. Everything reminds me of her. I can't wait to see her when she wakes up from her naps, I can't wait to kiss her and see her smile - and sometimes don't even mind her little meltdowns - even public ones! ;o) She's the greatest thing ever! So yeah - mark it up peeps - Teagan's my little Hero! xoxoxo
