it started for me after going to a run dmc concert around 1982 started running a local teen club,the owner sold me a mixer,and I borrowed 2 turntables,parties were every friday & saturday nights.still in high school,winter of 1983,christmas break, my parents ask me what i wanted for christmas,i said i wanted to go visit my aunt in alantic city,nj (with no family in nyc)i wanted to get close to new york as i could get.while there i meet a guy who took me to a club is was 16 or 17 yrs old,once in i headed straight for the dj booth,the dj said kid your not old enough to be in here,so he put in booth with him,i watched how he move the crowd,i picked his brain for a week the entire time is was there,honing & sharping my skills, while in the military, station in virginia(hampton,norfolk,va beach) i started djing local clubs,while deployed overseas i spun a few records in clubs,spain,france,italy,israel to name a few. while in virginia beach,va.tidewater area(clubs) djing i meet a guy... (get it) name TEDDY RILEY,(super producer)when he was in town he would be in the club chillin,he would always come up 2 the booth and chill,and drop off some of his new joints . when i would visit the va beach studio, a couple of teenagers who were always around ,name CHAD HUGO & PHARRELL..(aka the NEPTUNES,) ever wednesday nite(the main event)a hip hop spot,me and a local dj turned super producer Tim Mosley(DJ Timmy Tim/aka TIMBALAND) .when i got out of the NAVY,moved to Miami started djing at strip clubs in the hollywood,ft lauderdale,miami area. 90-92, came back to Tennessee(m-boro) enrolled at MTSU, started djing a lot of college parties on and off campus.. so that brings me to up to date, been djing for right at 20yrs, the last couple of years i`ve really gotten back in to it. with the beats,production, mixtapes, and networking with dj`s & Artist. turned it into a business(mobile dj) SPECIAL OPS ENT.DJ (style) Turntablist: unorthodox,shaolin(2-handed)technique, pure turntablism..... President of Tablemanners DJ`s Nasville(Cashville) Tn chapter,(recruiting at this time).. with chapters in Chicago,Il(Headquarters) Indianapolis,Fl,Ga,our mindset is 2 break artist( hip-hop,rap,crunk,r & b,neosoul)etc "joints gotta be hot" Ive open up for, Jody Watley, Guy,Blackstreet,Al B.
