Big Fat Snake

Only a very limited number of bands can boast of selling more than 100,000 copies of their albums in such a small country as Denmark. But Big Fat Snake can. They started their band in 1991. Since then numbers of their fans have grown tremendously, with very faithful live audiences. In recent years especially, the band has become highly popular with such amazing chart sales that double platinum discs to hang on the wall are no longer a rarity.The band consists of lead singer Anders Blichfeldt, guitarist Peter Viskinde, Pete Repete on keyboard, Asger Steenholdt on bass and Jens Fredlund on percussion. Their music is based on rock and in the Danish media they are known as the “People’s Rockband” and have made various rock hits and ballads in English. As a band they are very closely knit, all making their contribution to what is a fantastic all-round musical experience. Lyrics and music are written by Anders Blichfeldt and Peter Viskinde, and they all assist in arranging them.
