About Me

1953: Peter is born on November 14th. 1963: Viskinde gets his first guitar, an Egmondt Lucky Seven, of his dad. 1966: The first band is formed together with Rene Jardorf under the name The Firemen. Debut appearance on the famous Bellevue Theater outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, in February. The Firemen play Rolling Stones, The Kingsmen, The Beatles and their own songs. 1968: Beginning of Viskindes acoustic period. Involving connections with different people. For the first time Viskinde realize the significance of Bob Dylan and familiarize himself with John Westly Harding and Dylans earlier records. 1972: Viskinde form the rock band Buffalo together with the schoolmate and pianist Henrik Littauer. 1974: Buffalos first album is released. 1976: Buffalo, Shut up and play. 1976: Viskinde quit Buffalo. 1977: Viskinde enters the already hardworking and well playing Hvalsøspillemændende. 1977: Hvalsøspillemændende, Østen for solen is released. 1978: Hvalsøspillemændende, Blålys bodega is released. 1979: Viskinde enters together with Henrik Littauer in a band called Malurt. Michael Falch sings and plays guitar, Peter Mors on drums and Dia Nielsen on bass. 1980: Malurts first album, Kold krig is released. 1981: Malurts second album Vindues kigger is released. 1982: Viskinde and Littauer quit Malurt during the recordings of the album Black Out. 1982: Doraz is formed Viskindes own material. 1984: Dorazs second album Tourist is released. Savner En Som Dig, from the album becomes a hit. 1985: Dorazs third album is released, Mere Frugt. 1986: Viskindes first solo album is released. His own songs in Danish. Two of the songs were written together with the Swedish Michael Richforss. 1988: Peter Viskinde and Anders Blichfeldt forms Werners Verdensorkester. 1990: The first Big Fat Snake album is recorded in December containing mostly rocknroll classics complemented with some of Blichfeldts own songs in English. 1991: Viskinde comes back to Malurt on the album Spøgelser. 1991. Malurt Unplugged is released. 1992: Born Lucky, BFS is released. 1992: Viskindes second album, Blue Angel is released. 1992: Malurt, Ghetto. 1994: Malurt, Live længe leve. 1994: Beautiful thing, BFS 3. album is released. Viskindes third solo album, The Sound of Loneliness is released. All of Viskindes songs is now in English. 1995: Midnight Mission, BFS fourth album, with the hit song No peace like in heaven, is released. The material now containing mostly of their own material Viskinde and Blichfeldt together. 1996: Fight for your Love, BFS. 1997: Viskinde, Turn to you. 1998: Flames. BFS album number 6. 1999: Sheriff Songs, Viskindes 5th album is released. www.bigfatsnake.com is released. 2000: Viskinde, Live 2000. 2001: Recylcled, BFS first greatest. Running Man, BFS. 2002: Viskinde, Under the moon. 2002: Play it by Ear, BFS. 2003: Viskinde, Born on a Red Star. BFS live with TCB band, One Night of Sin. 2004: Viskinde, Best off. More fire, BFS. 2005: Viskinde, Picture in a Frame. 2006: Between the Devil and the Big Blue Sea, BFS
