Im into BMX freestyle, along with that I ride flatland professionally and also manager of the skatepark, so guess you could say its a big part of my life!! As i contribute to UK Ride. I Love going out, hanging out with all my friends, hip hop music, inventing new tricks on my bike. Graphic Design is also an interest of mine when i actually have the time to get around to doing some.
Creative and cool people whether bike riders or not doesnt matter...
Music is one of my main motivations when im riding, a good track can give you that extra bit of energy you need to get that trick for the first time, or just have a good session. I love hip hop, the first Nas album "illmatic" is still one of my favourite albums, i like hip hop thats stand the test of time, and i guess you could say that Nas' earlier stuff did that. Liking the "Perfect Bitch@ tune on the new Nas album. So if you are a Nas fan reading this, maybe u should check it out. As well as Nas I listen to Buck 65, Aceyalone, Freestyle Fellowship, Lord Finesse, Tribe called quest, Main source, UK hip hop, really into the London sound at the mo (Rodney P, Skinnyman, Skitz, etc). Also getting into the anticon stuff as well (sampler,Passage, Why?, Sole, Deep Puddle Dynamics), as well as hip hop i listen to all sorts really.Anything from Minor threat, Metallica, Alice in Chains through to Kanye West, Brandy, r n'b init.
Of course loving the bike dvds, especially flatland stuff, Intrikat series, Dorkin, baco, props, take your pick, all is good for expanding the knowledge haha, besides bike dvds, also big fan of skate dvds always seem to look better than bike dvds, have no idea why they just do. Regular movie wise...Quite wide range taste in movies, Stand By me, Pay it Forward, the Friday series, although not the same since Chris Tucker left after first film, 2 Fast 2 Furious. Gotta be loving Ludacris on that, holla!!!
Match of the day, anything football related, music channels, hollyoaks, watch tv in winter, not much in the summer.
David Carson End of print 1 and 2, anything good graphics and visual stimulation in
To many to mention but obviously you have to respect the architects of modern day flatland Kevin Jones and Chase Gouin, Pete Brandt, Martti Kuoppa, Simon O'Brien, Jamie Bestwick, Dave Mirra, Scotty Crammer. I love watching good skating on videos, Daewon Song, (Cheese and crackers!!!), Paul Rodriguez, Mark Appleyard.
