The best things come from California

About Me

I've recently graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in "upstate" New York with an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry. I'm now back at home in SoCal workig for 3 months at the Four Seasons Hotel as a Pastry Cook until February, when I will return to New York to get my Bachalor's from the CIA in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I'm glad to miss another cold, Northeastern winter (since I'm a Cali-girl, born and raised), but I DO miss New York, and the people there. I'm pretty anxious to get back, snow or not.

My Interests

baking, music, traveling, road trips, kitties, shoes and jewelery

Music:

Have me listen to it, and I'll tell you if I like it or not.

Movies:

I'm not too picky...except I usually don't enjoy a sappy romance where everything turns out predictably perfect in the end.

Television:

Nature shows are awesome. And whatever else catches my interest at the time...I don't have a "TV schedual"

Books:

pretty much anything by Steinbeck (East of Eden, in particular). And The Scarlet Letter by Hawthorne.
