My intention was to combine elements that you do not ordinarily hear together to create a song that "takes you somewhere"."Don't Wake Me... I'm Dreaming" was written and recorded from Nov.-Dec. 2004. The use of backwards notes makes this one unique and hypnotic."Looking Back" was recorded in 2005. This song reminds me of the moment just before falling asleep, when I am not quite awake, but not quite asleep. Am I the man who is in the dream? Or the dream that is in the man?...
