About Me

Acoustic's best and not playing at all would be preferable. Once you've worked out your neurosis, you can gradually stop doing things and annoying people. - billy childish

My Interests

Forwarding the idea that the bass guitar is more important than the six-string, followed by the drums. Making more of my oft-lauded "potential." Vocabulary. Good cats that will let you pick them up and hold them like a baby. The South, for purposes of liking and hating. Making beer. Taking pictures. Working on the house and around the yard. The color brown and clothes that are that color. Learning to cook more things. Looking through other people's trash. The names of Southern towns. Old LPs, old guitars, and old things in general. Traveling to new places. Muscadines and (good) muscadine wine. Things that hang on the edge of my memory. Hating to shave even though I cannot grow a beard. Gingerbread pancakes. Putting broken things back together. Places imbued with a sense of gravitas. Solitude.
