The Bard Stars

Refreshingly Entertaining Original Rock Band

About Me

The Bard Stars
A trend-bucking highly energetic rock band, drawing influences from all and sundry, serving up a varied and unusual mix of musical styles.
The Bard Stars were founded in the Summer of 2006 by Mikey (bass) and Ben (vocals) and the line up was soon completed by Mark (guitar), Ben (guitar) and Adam (drums). After intense and critical practice at the end of that year, they've hit the Southampton gig circuit running in 2007, performing as if they'd been together for years.
So if you want an evening of infectious vocal workings, guitar grinding, Mikey's inimitable seductive bass lines, and some errant snare hits, drop by and check us out. We'll gladly accept any pints (and financial support) you wish to donate.
Our current set list of originals is expanding at a collosal rate. We are putting out some exciting tuneage and also putting our own spin on a multitude of hard rocking classic favourites.
If you have any suggestions for the band that will make a bard stars gig a night to remember, then drop us a line.
Meanwhile fasten your seatbelts as this is gonna be one hell of a ride!!!!
