Mainly making and creating music with my band Cirrha Niva, also I'm a fanatic music collector. In the summer season I really like to visit some festivals, like Graspop (my favourite), Arrow Rock Festival and Bospop. I'm a true visitor of the metalmarket on every festival. Just to find the cd's to enrich my collection.
Well that's hard to tell. I don't know actually. I'll see what happens.Note: expect a lot more information from me soon. Currently I'm trying hard to get a graduation for my second and final year in a study to become a plaster master in the hospital. (Holland is the only country in the world that has certified plaster masters. They are the people that put on a nice plaster when you've got a broken bone or more)
Mostly, progressive rock and metal and psychedelic music. But I also do like some "classic rock" bands like, The Doors, KISS, Iron Maiden, The Beatles and many more bands. They even don't have to be rockbands. I think that if there's enough emotion in the music, I can appreciate it.Anyway, you can find in my "friends" section, the diversity of my musical interest. Still after all those years, the "classic" rockbands can offer me a lot of inspiration, mostly because being "basic" and "to the point" in their music.
The Doors by Oliver Stone. Monty Python-everything and especially "The Holy Grail". Batman-the whole collection.
I don't watch television that much. I would rather listen to some nice music, or creating music myself instead of being fed with lots of crap on tv. The only channel that has the most interesting programms is Discovery Channel, I think.
Until this year I wasn't really reading a book actually, mainly because of the fact that my interest in reading was really distorded, when everyone at school was forced to read 5 books for every language that was given. And I was studying Dutch, English, German and French. So that is 20 books I had to read in a year. I think reading is supposed to be a form of relaxation, not a tool to hurt someone. But since the DaVici code became a hit I'm interested again in reading, also because history is a favourite item for me.
Well my heroes are actually found in my favourite music. So as a real "The Doors" fan that would be Jim Morrison, but also The Beatles, KISS, John Myung, Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, Victor Wooten, Lars K. Norberg, Pete Trewavas and many more musicians.....anyway, just check out the www.cirrhaniva.com website to check out the whole list of my "heroes".
