I want to live like this . . .
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
(1 Thessalonians 4:11-12)
Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers & sisters, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with EVERYONE. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophesies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
(1 Thessalonians 5:13-22)
I work for DCH Developments & Construction. I love it! I get to work with 3 Godly men, who encourage me daily as we seek to serve the Lord with the work of our hands.
In the future, I would like to start my own Real Estate Investment company. You know, join the bandwagon.
I have a B.A. Theatre degree from U.S.C. GO TROJANS! Fight On!!
I worked as a Substitute Elementary-School Teacher with the Corona-Norco Unified School District for a year. It was great. I absolutely LOVE working with kids, especially K-3rd grade.
I also worked with NewKey Home Lending as a Loan Originator for a short time. It wasn't my thing.
Should I even mention the years I've spent in the Food Service Industry?! Nah.
The other exciting thing I do is DJ for LSM Entertainment and Atmosphere Entertainment!! Now that's fun stuff. I'm not great, but I'm learning. I call myself "DJ TAJ" when I'm mixing it up.
I'm a huge fan of the human imagination!!!
And I love playing pretend!
I enjoy a good conversation, or time spent meditating on the nature of human interaction and the complexities of community.
But, this is the MOST IMPORTANT part of my life:
My Relationship With My LORD And SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST
Serving God is an amazing Adventure - and I'm so blessed that He has been merciful enough to forgive me of the many foolish choices I have made along the way.
