THE LATE CREW

The L/C is a unique combination of musicians with diverse musical backgrounds which have come together to create a special musical combination which encompasses every genre from the smoothest jazz to the gruuvinest r&b and of course a lil nasty old funk n roll for good measure.The result is a good time with a lil something for every musical taste.The formation of the band by GreggSwan was a culmination of a vast musical career which encompasses everything from playing in the church with ShirleyMurdock (of roger trourman & Zapp fame), to recording with old pal TonyNicholas who went on to become the late great GeraldLeverts songwriter & producer.Tony brought gregg on board to do some guitar work on Geralds Electra release "StokeOfGenius"cd.Gregg also spent time performing with local phenom,bassplayer DanyelMorgan,who is currently recording for WarnerBrothers with the popular blues/funk band,RobertRandolphAndTheFamilyBand.Gregg also honed his chops during late nite jamsessions with local guitar hero,ScottHenderson who of course is currently one of the worlds greatest.The L/C provides a vehicle for gregg to display his virtuosity and unique yet tasteful work with the guitarSynth.Holding down the keyboards is VICTOR FLOYD,younger brother of central ohio legend,BobbyFloyd.Vic has a lon,diverse musical background,starting with his own group,TheMainAttractions,which featured another ohio area legend,miss WandaRash,who has worked with all of the Dayton area supergroups.He has also worked with or opened for the likes of RoyAyers,TheRudeBoys,TheFatBoys,HaroldMelvinAndTheBlueNotes, Lakeside,VinceAnderw and JeanetteWilliams.Vick is also quite active in the local gospel music scene. *** Lead vocalist, miss Sabrina Tutstone, has a diverse resume of acheivement, from performing on Carnival Valor criuselines, performing with guitarist Wilbert Longmine, organist, the late Hank Marr, saxaphonist, Gene Walker, keyboardist, BobbyFloyd, songstress, Mary Mclendon and Jeanette Williams, to name a few! Not to mention her performances for the OhioState prisons and federal institutions for over twenty years, leaving a profound impact!! Her goal is to make a difference with her god given ability, wherever she goes!! With JEFF OWENS on bass and NEAL COBB holding down the solid but precise backbeats THELATECREW offers a little something for every musical sensebility!
