Im Ilya Valeryevich Kovalchuck. I was born April 15 1983 in Tver,Russia.Im 6'2" and 220 lbs. I played hockey in Russia foe the Krylja Sovetov from 1999-01. I was then Drafted to the Atlanta Thrashers first overall in the 2001 NHL entry draft. During the 04-05 lockout i played for Aq Bars Kazan. My carrer highlights include The NHL youngstars mvp in 2002. The all-star game mvp in 2004. And the Maurice Richard trophy in 04 (i shared it with Jerome Iginla and Rick Nash). And in the Torino Olympics i had a 4 goal game vs. Latvia.
