A collective of original artists dedicated to exploring, promoting, and pushing the boundaries of the undeground sound. Higher Than You Records is an independent label that has released dozens of cds. the idea is to stay effortless and true to the visions of the recording artists. Members have went on to work for Chicago Sound and R. Kelly(Jay Mlodzinski), win Billboard awards (Charley Janel / Eric Casey), perfrom with hip hop legend Kool Keith (Layla Toke), start the Rochester Hip Hop Myspace community (Jon Woodring), and join GrassRoots Music Festival legends Donna the Buffalo (Tom Gilbert).
