About Me

My name is Mike. I'm a musician, artist, writer, and just generally driven, hard working, and creative mofo. Music is my blood, but I love anything that provokes creative expression.
I'm the lead singer/songwriter for Jessica Seven(www.myspace.com/jessica7band or www.jessicaseven.com). I strive to be my own master, through whatever talents the fates have given me. That being said, I do a bunch of shit to get by, from studio and session work as a musician outside of Jessica Seven, tattoo designing, and even selling paintings and sculptures. If you're interested in any of this stuff, here's a starving artist you can feed haha.I'm perpetually single, and I'm fine with that. I have a heart that was built with a lot of love, but a lifestyle that will forever keep me at odds with myself, much less a partner in life. At least music is a great thing to have fill your soul, cuz loneliness is a heavy cross to bear. Its all good though. Check out our music and you'll see for yourself.

My Interests

Playing any musical instrument you'll give me time to tinker with, hanging out with my mom and our dogs (they're like children to me), basketball, drawing/painting, reading, video games, kicking it with my friends whenever time presents, and D&D

I'd like to meet:

Music fans and musicians. Artists and art lovers. Poets and prophets. I think I'd have a blast kickin it with LeBron James too though. I'm always down to meet supporters of local, original artists and musicians in my area and around the globe! Of course, I'm eager to give anybody a shot... you never know what new perspective you'll gain from making more friends.

I like "almost" all music, but these are a few of the bands that have shaped who I am today: JESSICA SEVEN, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marilyn Manson, Smashing Pumpkins, the Cure, Jane's Addiction, NIN, Tool, Perfect Circle, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Our Lady Peace, Joe Satriani, so many others, but these jumped up first.

Movies:

Braveheart, The Salton Sea, A Knight's Tale, Pulp Fiction, Gladiator, Robinhood-Prince of Thieves, Count of Monte Cristo, Starwars (any of um), Lord of the Rings (any of um), Conan the Barbarian, any good zombie movie

Television:

NBA games (Go Cavs), That 70's Show, Sirius Octane, History Channel.

Books:

R.A. Salvatore, most things involving Forgotten Realms, music biographies, occult studies (dream translations, the zodiac, numerology, and whatever else stimulates an abstract thought or two)

Heroes:

William Wallace, Flea, Dave Navarro, Marilyn Manson, Nikki Sixx, Billy Corgan, Trent Reznor, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Drizzt Do'Urden *lol*(if you know that one, you're just as guilty!), Will Smith. And of course, all my friends, who are some of the most supportive people a guy could ever have in his life!
