About Me

I havent updated this in ages...kind of lost interest in Myspace as I've figured it out it isnt the answer to what I'm looking for in life, so I spend more time in the real world now lol.
Before I start a message to bands. PLEASE DO NOT PERSIST IN TRYING TO ADD ME...I'VE PUT THE BLOCK ON FOR A REASON. GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN YOUR MUSIC CAREERS BUT I'M NOT INTERSTED IN BEING ADVERTISED TO OR SPAMMED! IF I LIKE YOUR BAND I'LL FIND YOUR PAGE AND ADD YOU MYSELF! .......Sorry that needed to be said!
Anyway now thats out of the way I'm Lee and I'm a goth/cyber/metal type person but theres more to me than that...
I work for Royal Mail and live in Liverpool in the UK but you dont want to know about that...and talking about work is boring :P. I spend as much time as possible going to goth/ cyber/ alternative clubs and love dressing up for the occasion. People kind of think I'm a bit stuck up and elitist when they see me out but its not true! I'm just a bit shy but generally friendly once you get to know me and also a bit on the mad side, dancing is something I enjoy greatly when out and I have a totally daft sense of humour (some would say slightly twisted) :)
I have a fascination with the paranormal and the occult etc (though I dont practice occultism, I lean more towards Buddhism than anything else spiritually) and I also practice Reiki...the healing gift of the gods which I can vouch definitely works! I also have a big interest in myths and legends of various historical cultures (Greek, Roman. Celtic, Nordic, Oriental...any really)
I'm also an OBSSESSIVE Doctor Who fan and talk about it far too much ...hey but at least we're not as bad as the Trekkies, though we are getting there ;) And I'm as equally passionate in my dislike of most things sport related (though nowhere near as bad as I used to be)...although things like kendo and fencing interest me, but I've never got round to trying them.
Places I go/ or have been to in recent years: Midian, The Krazyhouse, Korova and The Swan in Liverpool occasionally Adult books as well when I get time off work;
Hex in Birkenhead;
Jillies, Sin City and Implant in Manchester (must try 'Ara' and 'Caged Asylum' sometime as well);
Dark-Cide and Afterlife in Preston occasionally
If I hear of other things going on in the north of England that sound good I do try to check them out when I can as well.
I like any altenative music thats good and especailly anything powerful but dance orientated. By that I DO NOT mean crappy trendy club music and radio friendly dance tunes (trance is good though! I dont count that in the commercial rubbish ;) ), I really like EBM, electroclash, futurepop and industrial which are all TOTALLY DIFFERENT and require much more imagination to make...I did try myself for a while, thats how I know that ;) I also like some metal/ rock music but I'm very choosy about it...theres just so much of it thats shite these days (blame Green Day and the rest of the Emo brigade that followed for that)
I love horror , fantasy and sci fi films/ shows, music and console games (particulary survival horror).
I also love seeing people dressed the way they want rather than just fitting in. I respect people with good images.
I'm not the type of person who just randomly adds people to my friendslist or goes looking through profiles, so if you happen to browse this and are looking for a genuine add as opposed to a number on a friendslist, say hi...(please do because I am ,believe it or not, quite shy...not really a 'first move' sort of person usually)
I dont have 'top friends'...I dont do favouritism...but seriously everyones equal on here (unless I actually tell you otherwise :P) ...so just a few good bands selected on my top friends bit :)
One last thing, if you add me I do not post on chain mail, so dont take it as offence if I dont post it on. You make your own luck in this world (to a certain extent at least) and chainmail isnt going to influence that either way!
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
Tetsuo: The Iron Man (note to self: never mention drill attachments on a date ;) )
The Calamari Wrestler (my money is on the guy with the tentacles):
Uzumaki...a particulary odd movie:
...and old but still good...
