I've been a fan of the rap group, Onyx, since I was fourteen and they have been doing their thing since I was a baby. These guys are hard, loud, lyrical, hard-working and multi-talented. In fact, they're some of the most talented men I've seen in Hip-Hop. One Friday night, I was in the pub with my parents and my dad's best friend from work. That friend of dad's is a very interesting guy and we were having a conversation about music. According to that man, Onyx are doing all the right stuff. He said that music should be more about representing certain people and certain things in life, and artists should really get you thinking. That night, I learned that it's what John Lennon from the Beatles did (my dad's from Liverpool too!) and I know that Onyx do it as well. They talk and rap about the U.S.G. (United States Ghetto), people who are in it and what it's all about. Don't get it twisted, I can tell you, definitely, that these men don't talk anyone into doing bad things. Almost every time I listen to them, I hear a particular line that sparks my brain and think about that situation while the track is still playing. In my point of view, every Onyx fan out there should look out for each other because we're a rare crowd. Well, I guess in Columbia, it's common because 40,000 people turned up in the last concert in Columbia for Sticky and Fredro. Anyway, I say that all you Onyx fans are unique people and we can get these fools out of that whack-ass School if we are strong enough to wake up them Monkeys. Sometimes the smartest person is the coolest...and that's why every gang has a chosen Don. We are all like the Don...

Strapped, Sunset Park, Clockers, Rocky (all 6 movies) Scarface (1983), Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Boyz 'N' Tha Hood, The Godfather (Parts 1 & 2), New Jack City, Set It Off, Jungle Fever. "Rocky Balboa" is my favourite because some of the stuff in the movie that teaches you can relate to me.
I don't really watch much TV, so all I like is "The Simpsons" on Sky One & Channel 4. Every year, I wait for the "Hip Hop Honours" on MTV Base.
My favourite book of all time has to be Tookie's (R.I.P.) "Redemption".
