What is Exutus ?
Well...
It is a project I started in 2002. At first, it was only to gather some guitar riffs and write lead parts, explore styles, to redefine my creative boundaries as well as to study musical structures.
There were 4 previous Chapters of Exutus:
1. Agony's Flow
2. Brainstorm
3. Force from Beyond
4. Strategic Fatality
They constituated somekind of a portfolio on a cd:
" Exutus - Gravity of Time I "
Then I kept on writing particular long pieces for another instrumental cd: " Exutus - Gravity of Time II "

Exutus is the latin word of the french word " Exutoire " (meaning a " Discharge System ")
So, if you think a little,
it consists of a way to get off our exposed fake world,
away from politics, psychotic behavior, judgements...
The everyday stuff! Also, trying to find a place where the mind can heal itself in despite of all the lies in this world we live in...
The Exutus/The Haven
During 2004, the first demos to include vocals were recorded on casettes.
Early 2005, the first "Official" demos were recorded.
Unnumberable compositions have been tried.
After passing years studying differant musical approaches, and 4 chapters of compositions, Exutus's first real demo with song playable in shows came out under the name: " Shadows of Prophecy . "
The 5th Chapter.
By 2006, I had pretty much my own and unique sound added to my ways to compose... I tried some wicked music approaches, styles and techniques (and I still am) since I wanted to explore my creativity.
Therefore, Exutus was forged within what I have called " Hybrid Metal ".
Projects for 2007 :
Final tuning of all the songs on the post-production and Homestudio recording during winter 2007
The albums should be ready for summer 2007, released under the label Exutus Music .

I have some other projects coming up beside Exutus. I make songs for a lot of differant styles from hip-hop to videogame musics. My range is wide and I'm always up to work with people for differant projects. I'm actually writing a soundtrack for an opera signer from Montreal and exposing lead-guitar ideas for a band from Granby. It's pretty cool!
