It’s been a development over time really. From the early days on a 4-track, to what you hear now. From playing the sound of a fireplace backwards through heavy reverb to the quiet calm of a distant stream mixed with slippery guitars, echoing keys, abstract bass, and even the occasional empty five gallon water jug rolling across the floor.
