Emerging from the small town of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire is...
Indie alternative’s new three piece band.
The influence of everyday life, from friends to enemies, enemies to friends. The stories of how life is perceived through the eyes of a teenager, is what we’re about. A spine of loud, dark, indie music driven by a sense of mystery within a voice, to create this persona of which Sleepyhead… are.
Formed during summer 2006; Sleepyhead…, is our first band. We're three sixteen year old best mates, we all attend the same school in Wellingborough, Sir Christopher Hatton. We want to show people what they're about, what we can do. Don't disregard us just because we're sixteen. We've got a lot to give.
During June '07 we were asked to perform at Hawkwind's festival, HAWKFEST.
December '07 saw us supporting The Others
Last month we supported Operahouse at the beloved Soundhaus.
