About Me

I am TERRIFIED of ghosts and of jellyfish, but strangely enough, the ghosts of dead jellyfish don't worry me too much. I didn't say at all. There's still the slight chance that a jellyfish I poked as a child may seek his revenge one day. I'll be waiting. I love when the time is a number pattern, like 12.34 and 56 seconds. When I was young I wanted to be a princess or a ballerina, but being a young girl from newmarket, the likelyhood of either was slim. and when I was five my Mam told me I danced like a baby elephant. It just wasn't meant to be I guess. Sniff. I love love love dogs and often say hello to them by accident on the street. Once a guy was trying to chat me up and he told me I was twice as good looking as a dog that passed us by on the street. I was secretly delighted. In a non-suprising twist in that tale, we found out he was admitted to a mental hospital two days later! I assume for a seperate issue.

Movies:

Monthy Python The Life of Brian and Search for the Holy Grail, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. At a push, I'd prefer 2. Kolya, Life is Beautiful, Cinema Paradiso (not the directors cut though), Ferris Buellers Day Off, Dirty Dancing, Whitnail & I, Children of Men, 28 days Later (which is as close to a horror as I can watch. I once turned off Fair City because Eunice thought her house was haunted and I got FREAKED!) My secret shame is Miss Congeniality. But its a secret so you're not ment to know ok?

Television:

Bring back Zig and Zag is what I says. Not in their Bronx Bunnie states though. Seeing that ruined all my childhood memories. Failing this petition, Fr Ted, Simpsons, Futurama, Date My Mom (my dad won that last year), Faisean Paisean, Black Books, Peep Show

Books:

I love 'the end is nigh' books like 1984, Brave New World, Never Let Me Go (Kazuo Ishiguro), Animal Farm, The Handmaids tale. Actually all Margaret Atwood books. Papillion (what a man!), Catcher in the Rye, The Godfather, Philip Pullmans His Dark Materials series, A Hundred Years of Solitude and Love in the time of Cholera. The Alchemist. The Life of Pi, The Five People you meet in heaven, Tuesdays with Morrie, Wuthering Heights

Heroes:

Well I used to fancy Mr T when I was 8 (a strange choice for a young white Newmarket girl I'm sure), so it would have to be him I guess...
