________________________________________After years of shaping the careers of some of the best artists in the music business, the Grammy nominated performer and producer, Scott Mayo, has moved to center stage with his new CD “Low Angle View” and critics across the country rave, “the people are screaming.”The multi-talented Mayo has worked with artists as diverse as Al Jarreau, Ice Cube, Michael McDonald, Ray Charles, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bonnie Raitt, Brazilian legends Dori Caymmi and Gal Costa, and a host of others. Mayo is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and is also a successful singer, songwriter, arranger and composer with work on the multi-platinum album “The Comfort Zone”, by Vanessa Williams. He’s also produced records for Jody Watley, Al Jarreau, Philip Bailey and Kevyn Lettau. He received a Grammy nomination as the featured performer on the Gerald Wilson “Theme From Monterey”, as well as Best R&B Album nods for producing Oleta Adams’ CD, “Movin’ On”.
