About Me

Have patience with everything
Unresolved in your heart
And try to love the questions themselves
As if they were locked rooms or books
Written in a very foreign language

Don't search for answers
Which could not be given to you now
Because you would not be able
To live them

And the point is to live everything.
Live the questions now
Perhaps then, someday far into the future,
You will gradually, without even noticing it,

Live your way into the answer.

- Rilke -

"There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread."

My Interests

Reading and writing. But not 'rithmatic.

I'd like to meet:

People who understand that love triumphs fear, kindness melts hate, and everyone could use a little hope. Oh, and Dave Grohl.

Music:

These lists are silly. There's just not enough room. I'm always in search of good music. Who says it's good? Why, I do, of course.

Movies:

The same goes for movies. I generally dislike romantic comedies, though.

Television:

I don't get to watch too much television, but I do try to make a point of catching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

Books:

Ever in flux... just about anything that tries to help us understand each other better.

Heroes:

Advocates for the human race.

Am I Gen-X now?
