Southampton Jazz Workshop is a dynamic new group playing large ensemble jazz music.Directed by trumpeter Jo Downs and husband Tim, the Jazz Workshop plays both modern and classic big band charts.Together with its sister group - the Southampton Youth Jazz Orchestra - the Jazz Workshop forms part of the newly established Southampton Jazz Centre Of Excellence.The band rehearses on Mondays at Tauntons College: if you are interested in joining, please contact Southampton Music Services or send us a message
