All I can say about my musical past is that I'm a very lucky man.I got early encouragement from Rich Dickerson (Crosswinds and other major projects) and Phil Risen (Foghat, Crosswinds and other major projects) as well as the Fritz brothers, my brother Michael and Tony Alexander to become a singer. Being shy and having no background in music made it a slow, but very fun start.I got a good kick-start playing with the guys from "Infamous" (Tom McGuire--Kid Gloves, Maniac, Cosmic Box, Strange Lloyd and several other projects, Justin Cermignani--Maniac, Rhythm Schtick, Pride, Strange Lloyd and several other projects, Tom Polapink--Rhythm Schtick, Cosmic Box, Strange Lloyd and several other projects, and Rich Walz). They let me play guitar and sing for a while with them in front of audiences. Later on I received continued encouragement from George Cintron (Led Zeppelin Symphony, Maniac, Enrique Iglesias, and more), Danny Miranda (Blue Oyster Cult, Queen/Paul Rodgers and more), and Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult and more) who were then playing together in a band called Pyramid!Then I spent four years as the lead singer of Bag'o'Blues along with fellow band members Jonathan Fritz (Lionel Ritchie, Tanya Michelle, as well as his own original acoustic material and other projects), Kenny Harris (Matt Marshak and many other projects), Rodney Harris (Alyson Faith, Matt Marshak and many other projects), Kevin Topping (Blondie and other projects) as well as Tim Fritz (Popa Chubby, Tony Cerqua Gang and other projects).In 1998 I was afflicted suddenly with a severe Neurological Disorder called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. The disease causes horrible, constant pain, disfigurement, and has me confined to the use of crutches. I quit playing music and quit Bag'o'Blues and I've been disabled ever since.In 2001 I moved from Centereach, Long Island, New York to Cortland, New York in order to finish college, but was unable to do so. The pain was just too much. However, I met some incredible musicians (Matt Barnes, Travis Bailey, Heather Jones, Bob Catalano, Bill Goliciki, Steve Morgan, Chris Merkley, Steve Daniels)who convinced me to pick up my guitar and start singing again. I followed their advice and realized the amazing therapeutic value that performing music has been.I'm just a lucky guy who loves to perform, entertain people and make music.I am currently (and very slowly) working on writing my first original cd!
