Politics, politics, politics. Did I tell you I like politics? Everything Republican and occasionally Democrat. Spending week nights at my gym, my gym friends, driving nowhere for no reason, being with my dogs, meeting the last of the truely humble people on this earth, anything on American history, Don't vote? Then don't bitch!, finding something so funny to laugh at that your stomach hurts, self deprecation (puts strangers at ease), being pro-choice, putting on my lipstick everyday, being happy that I have my parents, movies about the military and government, buying girly stuff like perfume and makeup, Adidas sneakers, little Hannah going through my purse all the time, freedom from being the norm, speaking with conviction, Barbaro, perfume that smells like baby powder, Jamie who is number five on my friends list for being a fun adversary, Daylight Saving Time starting earlier, people that treat their pets like family, men who hunt, being a girly girl, the strengh a man's shoulders can show---------Some things I dislike-Nancy Pelosi, welfare moms who don't marry their baby's daddy so they can collect a bigger welfare check, entitlement society, poor-me-I-hate-my-parents types, druggies-legal or illegal, people who've just "got to party" all the time, people who spend their time getting approval from those that don't give a damn anyway...people that stay with cheaters, married men that try to flirt, married women that forget about their husbands once the children arrive, people who think having a baby saves a relationship, just about all of Hollywood's involvement in politics.
I'll meet my true love someday, probably on the street in passing, I just hope I know it when I do. I guess anyone that I can flirt with. This is what I think of when I think about the guy I want to meet.... I imagine you and I are in separate cars. You wait for me to pull out first so that you can follow to make sure I make it there okay.....that's all. I know that may sound corny but the little things can speak volumes. I'd like to meet Joe Leiberman because he went against party lines to speak out in what he believes in instead of voting with the popular opinion. As for friends, I like to hang out with people like me that feel a little out of place or aren't sure where they fit in. It's so much easier to be yourself than to play a part to fit into the norm. Command respect for who you are instead of what you think people want and drop the toxic people in your life. You've got to have honor and integrity to truely feel good about yourself.
