SAMMI DAWG a.k.a was born in kingston jamaica to the parents of Waldin and Edris Campbell, he is the secound to last for his parents, SAMMI DAWG grow up in the kingston/kentyre area with his parents but at the age of six his father went to the U.S. to try to make things better for his family, growing up in kentyre area was not so easy for SAMMI DAWG and his family or anyone in that area from his eye’s, SAMMI DAWG love to play soccer but his focus was on making music, The name SAMMI DAWG was give to him by is friend from the YOUNG ROSES K.R.U. at first he didn’t like the name and his mother didn’t like anyone calling him SAMMI DAWG so she try to tell dem no to but it make no sence telling them not to, the name was accepteded after a he couldn’t fine any other name to use as a reggae artist and every one was already calling him that so he keep it as SAMMI DAWG, In SAMMI DAWG school day’s he love to call his school friend’s his fan’s, At that time he didn’t have any song for him self so he used artist song’s like ANTHONY MALVO,Spragga Benz,CAPELTON,BOUNTY KILLER an NINJA MAN, on clarks street where he live he an a friend by the name of JAMROCK like to clash each other but SAMMI DAWG never have song’s as bad as BOUNTY KILLER or NINJA MAN, Because jamrock was useing other artist’s song but SAMMI DAWG was building up his freestyle skills which is 20 time’s better today, In 1998 SAMMI DAWG came to NYC/Brooklyn where he build his name in the crown height area, SAMMI DAWG have record song on a lot of hit riddim which became underground hit’s and also get radio play, SAMMI DAWG perform at a lot of party’s and also perform with big reggae superstar BASCOM X where he get a lot of respect from people that night for doing very well, SAMMI DAWG would like to let everyone know that now matta what happen he will keep on making good songs.
